My backs are packed and I am en route to Columbus airport.
Im not usually one to take selfies but, I am excited to honor my grandfather by wearing a dress shirt of his. He was always a snazzy dresser. Oh how much I wish he could have been here to tell about this trip!
I can feel the love of both my grandparents with me as we drive down. the horizon is a perfect “sky blue-pink”.
by this afternoon, the 30th advocacy forum, I will be amongst the largest group of advocates to approach capital hill. 1,200 people will over the next three days “paint DC purple”, in the hopes to #ENDALZ . 200 of those advocates will be like myself, under the age of 35, who are/were a caregiver for a parent/grandparent.
